The Digital Home for Student Runners

Put it down, pick it up.

"Put it down" means setting aside the stress, the anxiety, the phone screens, and the pressure of schoolwork, even if just for a run. "Pick it up" means choosing running, and a life that feels manageable again. Find your pace, find your peace.

Built by a high schooler, for all other schoolers.

News, training, community, and a mission to give back. Everything student-athletes need, all in one place.

See What We Do

Our Four Central Pillars

Everything we do is built around four goals: to inform, to teach, to act, and to connect the community.

News

Stay updated on race results, athletic performances, and athlete profiles. Stories that inspire all teens and students, not just the athletes.

Learn

Training guides, technique breakdowns, injury prevention, nutrition tips, and long-term fitness. A growing library built for runners at every level.

Act

Turn passion into impact. Charity runs, volunteer opportunities, and community partnerships that give back to the sport and the people in it.

Connect

Find runners from your state, your school, or even your neighborhood. A community where student-athletes can find each other with ease.

Running for Good

HS Runners is more than a news site. Running has carried plenty of us through stress, anxiety, and hard seasons, and we want to put that same power to work for other teens too.

We're building toward charity runs and in-person events that support teens struggling with their mental wellbeing or physical health, organized alongside qualified partner organizations. HS Runners is a community and events platform, with the goal to open doors to real support.

🏃

Group Charity Runs

Events that turn miles into real support for the people who need it.

🤝

Real Partnerships

Working with qualified organizations, not doing it alone.

🌱

Built to Grow

A volunteer board and nonprofit status are next, as the community grows.

Why HS Runners?

There's MileSplit for results and Strava for personal tracking. But where do high school runners go for news, learning, and community, all in one place? Where do beginning runners go to find the community that they can fit in?

That's the gap we're filling. HS Runners isn't a generic running media site. It's built specifically for student-athletes and for teens excited about their running journey, by a current high school runner who knows exactly what that means.
